hobomojo A fantastic melodic hard rock album from start to finish in my view. It's hard for me to pick a "stand out track " as they say due to me only giving it 2 spins thus far. But if I had to I would go with when Angeles cry & then the opener circle of fire.
I have been aware of Jay for the past couple of years following his awesome YouTube channel of his lynch licks among his own music or be it gear reviews or his awesome talents with his guitar builds.I'm a big fan of his & similar influences.

about

Jay Parmar’s amazing album ‘Circle of Fire’ has been described as:

‘With an artistry and drive that is never less than absorbing the new album from talented guitarist Jay Parmar gives a pleasure as immense and deep as the sounds and ability which pours from it. Circle Of Fire brings a fresh and eager breath to classic metal and hard rock without the need for indulgences and spurious tricks and charms…Circle Of Fire is a beacon in what generally feels like a wealth of over played and self centred similar styled albums. With Jay Parmar you only get honesty and organic heartfelt music, oh and wonderful sounds that light up each and every day.’
Ringmaster Reviews

‘Parmar and Newdeck build a solid foundation for the 12 songs that comprise Circle of Fire and deliver inspired, melodic hard rock bliss. Rotella and Lynch, both, deliver amazing fret board acrobatics alongside Parmar. The slick production magnifies the high caliber of musicianship that comprises Circle of Fire.’
Hardrock Haven

‘There is something to this that is hard to resist. You might not like bands like Toto or Journey but when you hear an album like this you just want to check out the lighter side of the hardrock tree as well as pulling out your Judas or Iron or Saxon albums.’
Anders Ekdahl, BattleHelm.com

The album features awesome the musicians Carsten Schulz (Evidence One/Paradise Inc), Andreas Novak (House of Shakira/Mind’s Eye), Pete Newdeck (Eden’s Curse/Tainted Nations), Tim Wallace, Mike Rotella and guitar legend George Lynch (Lynch Mob/KXM/Souls of We/Dokken). There are so many highlights on this albums from the gritty and hellacious vocals of Carsten Lizard-Schulz on the songs ‘Lost in You’ ‘Hell Is The Place’ ‘Guilty’ and ‘Circle of Fire’; Andreas Novak’s emotion filled performance on ‘Test of Time’; Pete Newdeck’s incredibly poignant vocals and drums; Tim Wallace’s punchy performance on ‘Harm’s Length’ and ‘The Dragon’; Mike Rotella’s scintillating solo on ‘Hell Is The Place’; and of course, George Lynch’s stunning solos on ‘When Angels Cry’, which also introduces Jay’s own vocals.

This is an album that all music fans are gonna want in their collection, especially fans of hard rock and metal. It’ll take you on a roller coaster journey that will make you wanna go on the ride again and again! So are you ready?

Feel, emotion, depth...
These are words that so well describe Jay Parmar’s guitar playing, song writing and productions. His high octane guitar playing is infused with eastern influence and the sonic soundscapes that he creates are tangible and thought provoking. As well as being a solo artist, Jay has worked and recorded with a variety of bands inc Eden’s Curse, Iron Knights and The Inner Road. ... more
